This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how White Wizard Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Plot No. 23, Sector 18, HSIDC Maruti Industrial Area, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122015 (operating the marketplace under the brand name “Velocity”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you access or use the Velocity Marketplace available via our website and checkout infrastructure (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, placing an order, or registering an account, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Scope of This Policy

Velocity operates an online marketplace that:

  • Hosts curated products from third-party sellers (“Merchants”)
  • Provides a Velocity-hosted checkout experience
  • Facilitates payments, order processing, customer support, and logistics coordination

Velocity is not a manufacturer or seller of goods listed on the Platform. Merchants are independently responsible for the products they sell, including quality, pricing, fulfilment, warranties, and returns, except where Velocity explicitly manages logistics or customer experience.

This Policy applies only to:

  • Users browsing or transacting on the Velocity Marketplace
  • Data collected directly by Velocity

Merchant websites, third-party payment gateways, logistics partners, and future lending partners operate under their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

When you browse or transact on the Platform, we may collect:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, mobile number
  • Delivery Information: Shipping address, PIN code, city, state
  • Order Information: Products purchased, order value, payment method, timestamps
  • Support Communications: Emails, chats, call records with customer support
  • Marketing Preferences: Opt-ins for emails, SMS, WhatsApp or promotional communication

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages visited, session duration, clicks and interactions
  • Referrer URLs and basic analytics identifiers

This data helps us improve platform performance, prevent fraud, and optimise user experience.

2.3 Payments Information

At launch, Velocity supports:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Prepaid digital payments via authorised payment gateways

Velocity does not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials. Payment data is securely processed by RBI-regulated payment service providers.

2.4 Future Credit & Financing Information (Not Collected Today)

Velocity may in the future offer checkout-level credit products such as:

  • Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
  • Pay-in-parts
  • EMI or short-term credit facilities

If and when such products are launched, we may, with your explicit consent, collect additional information including but not limited to:

  • Identity information (PAN, Aadhaar or equivalent KYC documents)
  • Financial information required for credit assessment
  • Credit bureau data
  • Device or behavioural data for fraud prevention

Such collection will strictly comply with:

  • RBI Digital Lending Guidelines
  • Applicable Indian data protection laws
  • Consent, purpose limitation, and data minimisation principles

You will always be informed and asked for consent before any such data is collected.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To enable marketplace transactions and order fulfilment
  • To process payments and manage COD logistics
  • To coordinate delivery and returns
  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes
  • To communicate order updates, service alerts, and policy changes
  • To personalise product discovery and marketplace recommendations
  • To run marketing campaigns and cross-sell across brands (only where permitted)
  • To detect fraud, misuse, or security incidents
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations

We do not sell personal data.

4. Sharing of Information

4.1 With Merchants

Velocity shares only the minimum information required for fulfilment, such as:

  • Order details
  • Product SKUs
  • Delivery address and contact details (only where fulfilment is required)

Velocity does not share customer PII with Merchants for marketing or remarketing purposes.

4.2 With Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third parties including:

  • Payment gateways
  • Logistics and courier partners
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Customer support platforms
  • Analytics and fraud detection tools

All such partners are bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

4.3 With Regulators & Authorities

We may disclose information:

  • When required by law, court order, or government authority
  • To comply with tax, audit, or statutory reporting obligations
  • To prevent fraud or protect platform integrity

4.4 Business Transfers

If Velocity undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, user information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Policy.

Once retention is no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
